Director of the Eduserv-funded Rhizome Project on digital identities and involved in a number of projects and initiatives that cut across a variety of themes: from explorations into the uses of social software for education and researching the educational value of Multi-User Virtual Environments (such as Second Life) to building pattern languages for Web2.0 technologies in learning and teaching, and community based programme support for JISC on the Emerge and Create projects.
