PROWE project

An interesting JISC funded project that is utilising both wikis and blogs. PROWE is exploring an innovative informal environment to support collaboration and learning amongst part-time tutors on distance education programmes. Informal repositories (including wikis and blogs) are being used to engage the users in interacting with other repositories within the context of two large distance education providers, namely The Open University and The University of Leicester.

ACL - educational blogging case studies

A series of ACL (Adult and Community Learning) blogging case studies are available for reading or download from the ACLearn website. These summarise the 6 English weblog pilot projects and 3 Welsh weblog pilot projects that were run as action research projects that evaluated and gathered evidence of working practice on the use of weblogs within the ACL sector.
