Futurelab report on social software

A very useful report from those people over at futurelab on emerging trends in the area of Social software and learning: An Opening Education report from Futurelab. A good overview of how we might understand social software both culturally and technically and how we might shift education in the direction of, what they have described as, c-learning (c for community). The report is very comprehensive taking in aspects of the changing nature of learning in an information society, how we might educate for creativity and how we might rethink attention, space and identity. It ends with perhaps more questions than answers but provides many avenues for exploration of some of he fundamental issues that underpin our educational value system.
